Premier Gujarat Titans (GT) pacer Prasidh Krishna threw the ball in anger at the Mumbai Indians (MI) all-rounder Corbin Bosch in the 56th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.
The match between the Mumbai Indians (MI) and the Gujarat Titans (GT) is currently underway at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Tuesday, May 6.

Prasidh Krishna delivers a decent performance against the Mumbai Indians
The right-arm pacer has been in the form of his life in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). He has shown his true potential with the ball, and working with GT head coach Ashish Nehra seems to have done wonders for him.
He once again looked good with the ball in the match against the Mumbai Indians, and he returned with the bowling figures of 4-0-37-1. The one wicket he picked up in the match was a crucial one of Naman Dhir, who scored just 7 runs.
With his bowling performance on Tuesday, Prasidh Krishna became the first bowler to reach 20 wickets feat in the Indian Premier League 2025, and he is currently sitting at the top of the Purple Cap List.
Meanwhile, Prasidh Krishna stole the limelight with his antics in the 15th over of the first innings when he was bowling to MI all-rounder Corbin Bosch.
On the second ball of the over, he bowled a back-of-a-length delivery to Corbin Bosch, who played it straight back to the fast bowler. Prasidh Krishna quickly collected the ball in his follow-through and angrily threw it back at the batter.
The batter, who was outside the crease, hurried back in, but the ball hit him straight on the pads. Then, Prasidh raised his hand and instantly apologized for the throw.

GT captain Shubman Gill hailed by Vikram Solanki
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Gujarat Titans director of cricket Vikram Solanki lauded the GT skipper Shubman Gill for his leadership.
"He’s an outstanding batsman and really has a bright future as far as his batting is concerned, but what’s pleasing to see is that he’s growing as far as leadership is concerned, and he’s really grown into the role of captaincy. So that’s great to see," said Solanki.
"When you have somebody who is as gifted, as talented, and as exceptional as Shubman is as a batsman, sometimes you might have concerns about whether the weight of leadership would bear heavy. I don’t think that’s been the case. I think you sometimes see that people thrive in those sorts of responsibility roles, and Shubman certainly has done that," he added.
Vikram Solanki further lauded Sai Sudharsan and said that he and Gill approach the game in a similar way.
"You can only credit them to their hard work, credit their success, credit their partnership to their hard work. There is the nuance that they are similar in terms of how they approach the game. They are fairly traditional in terms of how they set themselves up for the game," he added.
