Jacks walked back to the pavilion after scoring 29 off 21 balls, smashing three fours and a six against the Lucknow Super Giants at the Wankhede Stadium.

Jacks was comfortable against LSG’s fast bowling, scoring 21 runs off 8 balls, including three fours and a six. However, the Englishman struggled against spin, managing just 8 runs off 12 balls without hitting a boundary at the Wankhede Stadium.
Suryakumar Yadav becomes the third-fastest player to score 4000 IPL runs
Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians star Suryakumar Yadav, has achieved a big milestone before being dismissed by Avesh Khan for 54 runs off 28 balls in the ongoing IPL 2025 clash. Suryakumar became the third-fastest player to score 4000 runs in IPL history after Chris Gayle (2653 balls) and AB de Villiers (2658 balls). He achieved the milestone in just 2714 balls in the league.

Well, Suryakumar's impressive knock came to an end when Avesh Khan dismissed him. The delivery was pitched up outside off, and Suryakumar tried to smash it through the off-side but didn’t get enough height.
The ball went straight to Mitchell Marsh at extra cover, who took an easy catch. Surya stood there in disbelief for a moment before slowly walking back to the pavilion.

Well, LSG had a great start as they kept the in-form Rohit Sharma (12), Will Jacks (29), Tilak Varma (6), and Hardik Pandya (5) silent, but Suryakumar and Ryan Dickelton’s fifties put MI in a strong position. At the end, Naman Dhir (25*) and Corbin Bosch’s (20) quick cameos helped Mumbai to post 215/7 on the board against Lucknow Super Giants.
For LSG, Avesh Khan and Mayank Yadav scalped two wickets each, while Prince Singh, Digvesh Rathi, and Ravi Bishnoi each managed to take a single against the MI at the Wankhede Stadium. Now, LSG needs 216 runs to win the game and keep their IPL 2025 playoff hopes alive.
