Pakistan National Cricket Team skipper Shan Masood finally lifted the monkey off his back as his team registered a series win against the England National Cricket Team at home. The hosts won the three-match Test series by the margin of 2-1, winning the series at home after three years.

Pakistan National Cricket Team came up with the magical effort with the bat and ball in the three-match Test series against the England National Cricket Team. They made a solid comeback after losing the first game of the series by a massive margin and troubled the opposition big time.

Shan Masood registers first series win as captain

Shan Masood, who was under massive scanner for his poor leadership, finally had something to cheer about. After losing the first game, Pakistan came up with a sensational effort and went on to win the game by a massive margin of 152 runs to register a win at home after 1300 days.

In the last game of the series, Pakistan produced another great performance. Based on the terrific bowling effort from Sajid Khan and Noman Ali, they wrapped up England's innings on 267 runs and then came up with a humongous effort with the bat.

On account of the century by Saud Shakeel, Pakistan posted a total of 344 runs, taking a massive lead of over 70 runs. Sajid Khan and Noman Ali then came up with another magical bowling effort, bundling out England for 112 runs, setting a target of just 35 runs for the hosts to chase, which they chased with 9 wickets in hand.

Ramiz Raja humilates Shan Masood

After the match, Shan Masood was having a conversation with Ramiz Raja. However, what caught the attention of many was the way the former cricketer of the team humiliated the captain of the team. He asked him how he achieved the 6 defeats on a trot. Raja also asked Shan if the series win was a one-off thing.

"Personally for you, even as a captain, you must be extremely relieved because there were six losses in a row and it's very easy to" asked another broadcaster.

"How did you achieve this? Six losses in a row? It's very easy to get into a hole. Even after trying." asked Ramiz Raja

"Ramiz bhai, we needed this win, the nation needed this win and I'm really happy that Pakistan won." replied Shan Masood.

Shan Masood talked about the series win after the game, claiming that they have quality in batting and bowling. He also talked about his leadership, saying that it comes up with the responsibility. He reflected on the positives for the team, saying that a series win is for the entire nation. He elaborated:

"We have quality in our batting and bowling, the depth is there. I've always said that we need to take 20 wickets to win a Test and that's what we achieved here. The job comes with responsibility (on captaincy). It's heartening to have young talents like Saim and Hurraira coming up, and seniors like Noman coming back into the set-up after a long time.

"We've had a lot of positives with the bat, Saud and Salman are growing as leaders. This series win is for the people of Pakistan who have suffered a lot with us, I am thankful for the English team; the contests between the two teams are always memorable, and I wish we play more, possibly a 5-match series."
