Australia National Cricket Team immediately opted for a DRS, and there appeared a big spike on UltraEdge when the ball was next to the glove. Dinesh Chandimal had to take the long walk back to the pavilion as he was removed by Nathan Lyon for the second time in the session.

Dinesh Chandimal, in the second innings, ended with a score of 31 runs off 49 balls. He also slammed three boundaries in his innings, and with his wicket, Sri Lanka National Cricket Team lost their third wicket in the second essay and were left tottering at 75/3. Australia now seems favourite to win the game as their spinners are all over the opposition batters.
