Watch: Ravi Bishnoi castles Wessly Madhevere with a peach in Harare

India leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi has been bowling like a dream in the ongoing first T20I against Zimbabwe National Cricket Team. The first game of the five-match series between the teams is underway at the Harare Sports Club in Harare on Saturday (6th July).

India won the toss and opted to field first and so far they have been extremely spot-on with the ball. One of the key performers so far for the India team has been the leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi, who has been tremendous with the ball in an ongoing game.

Ever since captain Shubman Gill introduced Ravi Bishnoi into the attack, the leg-spinner has tilted the game in his team's favor. The young spinner so far has seemed unplayable in the game and the Zimbabwe batters are finding it hard to read him with all the variations that he has been displaying.

This was quite evident when he sent Wessly Madhevere with a peach. It was during the last ball of the 8th over when Ravi Bishnoi bowled a googly and made the batter look clueless with his sensational bowling.

The trajectory of the ball was very flat and the batter went for the slog sweep and missed the line completely. The ball went under the bat to crash into the stumps and send the batter packing after having a start for his team with the bat.

Wessly Madhevere played a decent hand for his team while opening the batting. The batter scored 21 runs off 20 balls but couldn't carry on the start that he got. With his wicket, Zimbabwe was left tottering at 51/3 inside the 8 overs and was under pressure with India bowlers all over them.

This was Ravi Bishnoi's second wicket in the game. The leg-spinner earlier removed Brian Bennett with a similar kind of ball. He bowled a googly to which the batter looked to drive and missed the line of the delivery completely, getting outfoxed.

Keeper-batter Dhurv Jurel appealed immediately but realized that the ball kissed the off-pole. The bail then also came off and the third umpire after looking at a few angles deemed it out. The leg-spinner helped India break the partnership as the batter managed 23 runs.

After picking two wickets, Ravi Bishnoi ensured that he finished his spell on high. In his last over, the leg-spinner went on to remove Luke Jongwe. He trapped the batter in LBW and after that removed Blessing Muzarabani as well. He returned with the figures of 4/13 in his 2 overs and also bowled two maiden overs.

Washington Sundar supports Ravi Bishnoi well as India put Zimbabwe under pressure

Apart from Ravi Bishnoi, Washington Sundar also bowled sensationally well and picked two wickets. In his 4 overs, the all-rounder gave away just 11 runs. Avesh Khan and Mukesh Kumar too were amongst the wickets as India were on the top in the game.
