India National Cricket Team spinner Ravi Bishnoi is giving his best for his team in the ongoing game of the three-match series against the Sri Lanka National Cricket Team. The third game of the series between the teams is underway at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Pallekele.

After posting a total of just 137 runs with the bat, the India National Cricket Team are keeping things tight with the ball and on the field. One of the major factors behind that has been leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi, who has given his best both on the ball as well as on the field.

After giving his best with the ball, Ravi Bishnoi made sure that he came up with a magical effort on the field. The leg-spinner picked a sensational catch in the field to remove Sri Lanka National Cricket all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga, who was promoted up the order.

During the third ball of the 17th over, Washington Sundar bowled a full ball around off to which Wanindu Hasaranga tried to send it out of the stadium. The batter got down on one leg to slog across the line but he didn't get the proper connection.

Wanindu Hasaranga managed to hit the ball from the lower part of the bat as the ball went high in the air. Ravi Bishnoi ran to his left from a deep backward square leg and put in a Superman dive to take a blinder with both hands and send the batter packing.

After Wanindu Hasaranga got out, India made a strong comeback with the ball as they picked wickets in quick succession of time and were back in the game. The Sri Lanka National Cricket Team needed 9 runs off the last 12 balls, and things changed drastically for them.

Rinku Singh bowled the 19th over and picked up two wickets. In the last over, 6 runs were needed and skipper Suryakumar Yadav came into attack. He also picked two wickets and the game ended in a draw, moving into super over.

India then ended Sri Lanka’s innings for just 2 runs in the super over and then chased the target to win the game. The Suryakumar Yadav-led side completed the 3-0 whitewash to start the new era on a high.

Very grateful to get an opportunity - Washington Sundar

Washington Sundar, who won the Player of the Match and took two wickets in the super over, talked about his performance, saying that he wanted to stay calm. He stated that he was grateful that the captain trusted him in super over and while speaking to broadcasters, he explained:

"All the work I did, blessings from God helped me. I wanted to try and stay calm. Very grateful to SKY for throwing the ball to me. I am very grateful to get this opportunity. I just need to do what I am supposed to do. We did a bit of homework against their batters. I had to hit the right lengths," he concluded.
