India National Cricket Team batter Sarfaraz Khan was a live wire on the field on Day 1 of the ongoing first Test against the New Zealand National Cricket Team. Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune is hosting the second game of the series between the teams.

Sarfaraz Khan was actively involved in the game and did a decent job for the team while fielding near the pitch. The young batter was appealing loudly and even was giving his best on the field. Not only this but he also was seen having fun with keeper-batter Rishabh Pant.

Sarfaraz was also at the receiving end of a blow as well while fielding. The incident took place on the 5th ball of the 79th over of the New Zealand innings when Ravichandran Ashwin was bowling to Mitchell Santner.

Ravichandran Ashwin bowled a delivery to which Mitchell Santner played a drive. The ball went on the bounce and hit Sarfaraz Khan right into his box. This saw Rishabh Pant giving the batter a big pat on the back while laughing.

But what caught the attention of many was the comment of commentators. As Sarfaraz Khan was hit, Dinesh Karthik said that that Indian player wouldn't have liked him getting hit on the box. Replying to his Ravi, Shastri came up with an epic reply, saying that the right-hander is a father now.
