In a recent video, which surfaced on the internet, the cameras marked Ravindra Jadeja engaging in a fun chat with field umpire Chris Gaffaney. The Indian veteran all-rounder has been captured tickling the umpire while the latter looks to resist him.

Ravindra Jadeja has always been a top character on the field; he was witnessed to be back to his old tricks during the ongoing test against England. The New Zealand umpire was seen resetting the bails on the stumps when Jadeja approached the umpire.

Whatever exchange of words happened between the two, Ravindra Jadeja's funny bone got tickled, and he began irritating the experienced batter playfully, while both burst into laughter. This incident was after India looked in a good position at the end of Day 4, having dismissed both the English openers.

Ravindra Jadeja scores twin fifties in supporting role at Edgbaston

Ravindra Jadeja is one of the very few seasoned players in the current Indian Test squad, after the retirement of his former teammates and veteran players like Rohit Sharma, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Virat Kohli.

Ravindra Jadeja is currently one of the most experienced names on the Indian side playing in England, and the veteran has stood by his big name, as he went on to score twin fifties across both innings of the second test at Birmingham.

Jadeja, who scored a stunning 89 in the first innings and built on a crucial double-century partnership alongside Shubman Gill to rescue India from a tough condition early on Day 1, also backed the Indian side with another fifty in the second innings.

Jadeja was not out on 69 runs when India declared in the second innings after Shubman Gill and Jadeja once again stood for a 100+ partnership between the two.

Morne Morkel senses a day of intense cricket action on Day 5

Indian bowling coach Morne Morkel was seen in the post-match press conference for India, where he took up the statement issued by the English middle-order batsman, Harry Brook, on chasing down any target set by the Indian team.

England would be confident after they chased down a record score of 371 runs in the first test at Headingley. However, this was not the end to England's heroics, as they also managed to put on runs at a staggering rate during the Jamie Smith and Harry Brook partnership at Edgbaston.

Harry Brook said confidently, "Everybody in the world knows that we are going to try to chase whatever target they set us."

"Harry Brook yesterday said that they will chase anything we give. I'm in for an exciting day of cricket," said India's bowling coach Morne Morkel.
