As soon as the match ended with heartbreak for KKR, Rinku shook hands with Pandya and quietly walked away with his bat as if it belonged to him.

The Mumbai Indians captain didn’t even notice, as he was busy removing his gloves and chatting with other players while looking around. Within seconds, the clip was everywhere online, making fans burst into laughter. However, this wasn’t new.

In another funny moment, Rinku also stole Finn Allen’s bat as well on the same night. Actually, the Mumbai Indians posted a funny video where Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, and Rinku Singh were seen checking out Allen’s bat. They were just trying to understand how he hits the ball so powerfully.

They were tapping a ball on the bat and talking about how solid it felt. But suddenly, the whole moment turned hilarious. While Suryakumar and Tilak were busy testing the bat, Rinku quietly grabbed it and sprinted away like a kid stealing chocolates.

Both of them started laughing as Tilak called out to him, asking him to return the bat. These playful moments showed the friendly bond between the players, and fans absolutely loved it.

Rinku Singh leads with maturity after Ajinkya Rahane exits with cramps

During Mumbai Indians’ chase, KKR were hit with a sudden shock when skipper Ajinkya Rahane had to leave the field because of severe cramps and dehydration around the seventh over. Rahane had already played a classy knock of 67 off 40 balls, but he looked visibly uncomfortable during the fielding.

In his absence, Rinku was asked to take charge on the field. He did his best under the pressure, rotating his bowlers better than expected and stretching the match much longer than anyone thought possible after MI’s explosive start.

Rinku’s on-field calls showed maturity and confidence despite leading for the first time. Earlier, Rinku had played a crucial role with the bat against MI. He smashed an unbeaten 33 off just 21 balls, hitting four boundaries to help KKR cross the 220-run mark in the IPL 2026 clash in Mumbai.
