India National Cricket Team batters Rishabh Pant and Sarfaraz Khan put on a show with the bat in the ongoing Day 4 of the first Test against the New Zealand National Cricket Team. The duo entertained the crowd big time at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Rishabh Pant and Sarfaraz Khan have turned out to be the shining light for the India National Cricket Team on Day 4 of the game. Both the batters together made the New Zealand National Cricket Team bowlers frustrated and brought their team back into the game.

Pant and Sarfaraz came out to bat together on Day 4, and right from the start, they were on the money. Both the batters started with an aggressive mindset and didn't stop as they kept going after the bowlers, both spinners as well as pacers.

It was Sarfaraz Khan, who took the aggressive route first and went to slam a magnificent century. This was his first ton for the India National Cricket Team, and he made sure he converted it into a big one and made a strong statement ahead of the important games.

On the other hand, Pant made sure that he didn't stay back and kept the run flowing at the other end. The keeper-batter took the attack to the spinner Ajaz Patel and slammed a brutal half-century, making New Zealand National Cricket Team bowlers look clueless all throughout.

One such moment was when Sarfaraz Khan was seen losing his patience after the New Zealand National Cricket Team took the new ball. The right-hander tried to take the attack on, but he missed the balls. This made Pant walk to him and calm him down, trying to make him understand to bat slow.

This came as a surprise to many because Pant often bats in the same way as Sarfaraz did. Therefore, his calming down the right-hander left many in splits.

Sarfaraz Khan ends with an innings of 150 runs, and Rishabh Pant perishes on 99

Sarfaraz, after getting his century, made sure that he went on and played a big hand for his team. He made sure that he made his first ton a special one as he ended up getting 150 and helped the team go past New Zealand's score in the first innings.

Sarfaraz Khan ended with an innings of 150 runs off 195 balls. He batted with a strike rate of around 77 and also slammed 18 fours and 3 sixes in his innings.

On the other hand, it was a heartbreak for Pant. The keeper-batter kept batting positively after Sarfaraz Khan got out and was on the verge of getting a ton. But he got out on 99 runs off 105 balls. He slammed 9 fours and 5 sixes in his innings.
