During Day 4 of the IND vs BAN 1st Test, Rishabh Rishabh missed a stumping chance of Shakib Al Hasan. Later, the Bangladesh all-rounder slammed a boundary on the very next ball to tease him. Bangladesh aims to chase down a mammoth 515 in the match.

Rishabh Pant grabbed a lot of limelight in the 2nd innings of the IND vs BAN Test match. The left-handed batsman shattered a century of 109 runs. Notably, Pant has made a comeback in Tests almost a year post his injury.

It was his first game after recovering from the road accident. He got out cheaply in the 1st innings but made a stunning comeback in the 2nd innings. With Shubman Gill, he also set up a 150-plus partnership to drive the scoreboard to a big total.

Rishabh Pant missed Shakib Al Hasan's stumping

During the 1st session of Day 4, Shakib Al Hasan stuck to an aggressive batting style against Indian bowlers. In the 47th over, he completely missed a delivery. However, Rishabh Pant failed to stump him on time.

The incident happened in the 47th over of Ravindra Jadeja. Hasan walked forward to smash a big shot but completely missed the ball. The ball hit Pant's chest and he failed to collect it.

As a result, Hasan managed to come back inside the crease within time and Pant missed an exciting opportunity to stump him. Have a look at the video of the moment below.

Notably, Hasan slammed a four on the very next ball, adding salt to Pant’s wounds. Shakib Al Hasan later got out for 25 runs in 56 balls. Ravichandran Ashwin dismissed him with a catch off Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Bangladesh aim to chase 515 in 4th innings

Notably, Bangladesh has a mammoth chase of 515 runs in the match. The credit for India's mammoth target goes to Rishabh Pant and Shubman Gill.

In the 2nd innings of the match, both of them shattered impeccable centuries to drive the scoreboard to a gigantic total. While Pant slammed 109 runs before losing his wicket, Gill added unbeaten 119 runs before Rohit Sharma called out the innings.

With 287-4 on the board, the hosts set up a mammoth target of 515 for the visitors. Earlier, India piled up 376-10 in 1st innings with Ravichandran Ashwin's century. Later, they bowled out Bangladesh for just 149 with a 4-wicket haul by Jasprit Bumrah.

The IND vs BAN 1st Test takes place at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Although India has dominated Bangladesh in the match, it has been an exciting match to watch.

Bangladesh bowler stunned Indian batters in the 1st innings, however, Ravichandran Ashwin rescued them with his astonishing century.
