India wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant is known for his unique ways of sledging the opposition batters. This time, Pant sledged his India and Delhi Capitals teammate Kuldeep Yadav to get him dismissed in the opening round of the Duleep Trophy 2024 match between India A and India B.

During the 45th over of India A's second innings, Pant was heard sledging Kuldeep Yadav and saying, “agle teen over me tu OUT hai (You will be out in the next three overs).” It happened exactly like that as Kuldeep was dismissed in the 48th over.

Offspinner Washington Sundar came in to bowl the 48th over of the innings. In the second ball of the over, Sundar tossed the ball up outside off stump.

Kuldeep tried to drive the ball through the covers but could not keep the ball down as he gave a simple catch to Musheer Khan at covers.

After the fall of Kuldeep's wicket, Pant hilariously celebrated the dismissal by saying, “yeaah out hogya out hogya.” Pant's voice was clearly heard on the stump mic as Kuldeep Yadav had a soft dismissal.

Kuldeep Yadav was dismissed after a stubborn 14 off 56 balls. The left-hander tried his best to stay at the crease but was finally tempted into a false shot.

His wicket also brought an end to a 29-run partnership between him and Akash Deep, who smashed a quickfire 43 and was the last wicket to fall in the match.

Rishabh Pant and Kuldeep Yadav in India's squad for Bangladesh Tests

Both Rishabh Pant and Kuldeep Yadav have been selected for India's squad for the Test series against Bangladesh, beginning on September 19 in Chennai.

This also marks the return of Pant to Test cricket after his life-threatening accident in December 2022.

While Pant has been selected as India's first-choice wicketkeeper, Dhruv Jurel has been selected as the other wicketkeeper in the squad.

Jurel had a brilliant start to his Test career against England earlier this year where he scored 190 runs in three Tests at an average of 63.33.

The return of Rishabh Pant will give a big boost to India as Pant boasts an outstanding record in Test cricket.

Before the accident, he was one of the most important players for India in red-ball cricket with centuries in Australia, England, and South Africa. He has scored over 2000 runs in the format in 33 Tests.

The players who have been selected for the two-match Test series against Bangladesh will now leave the Duleep Trophy. A camp will take place from September 12 in Chennai to help the players prepare for the upcoming Test season.
