Indian keeper-batter Rishabh Pant has been consistently chirping behind the stumps and is getting into the minds of the India A batters during the ongoing Duleep Trophy 2024. The match between the teams is underway at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Rishabh Pant, who is keeping the wickets for India B, in the ongoing game, has completely gotten into the head of India A batter Kuldeep Yadav. The wrist-spinner battled hard for his team and made sure that he kept his side in the hunt and attempted to draw the game.

After India A lost early wickets in the chase, it was Kuldeep Yadav who looked rock solid in the crease. He first played a perfect supporting hand to KL Rahul, who played a magnificent innings of 57 runs off 121 balls. But once the premier batter got out, he took the onus to himself.

Kuldeep Yadav blocked the ball tremendously well, and with the way he was batting, it seemed that he would draw the game for his team. Watching him hardly put a foot wrong during his innings, Rishabh Pant behind the stumps tried to irritate the wrist spinner.

On the last ball of the 41st over, Pant asked his teammates to go to the boundary and let Kuldeep Yadav take the single. Replying to this, the wrist spinner said that he wouldn't take the run, to which the keeper-batter asked him to swear on his mother that he wouldn't take a single.

Pant - Sab aage jaao, ye single lega (everyone goes near the boundary, he'll take single).

Kuldeep- Main nahi lunga (I won't take the single).

Pant - Maa Kasam khale nahi lega (Swear on your mother you won't do it).

If this was not enough, two overs later, Rishabh Pant came up with another hilarious word for Kuldeep Yadav. The left-hander asked his teammates to let the batter take the single as he had made a strong plan for him.

Replying to this, Kuldeep Yadav asked the keeper why is he irritating him. Pant then yelled loudly at him and told him to get out.

Rishabh Pant : “Isko single lene do bht tagda plan banaya hai iske liye (Let him take single I have made a good plan for him)”

Kuldeep : “Kyu pareshan kra hai yaar (Why are you irritating me).”

Rishabh: “Out ho na jildi (Get out quickly).”

Pant's plan to get into the head of Kuldeep Yadav worked fantastically well, as the wrist spinner got out a few overs later. His resistance came to an end in the over of Washington Sundar bowled a flighted delivery.

The off-spinner invited the drive by tossing it up just outside off. Kuldeep Yadav chipped it straight to the cover and was caught by Musheer Khan. He ended with an innings of 14 runs off 56 balls with the help of 1 six.
