India National Cricket Team skipper Rohit Sharma played a brutal shot in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 semi-final match against Australia National Cricket Team that nearly hit the umpire.

Looking at this, Rohit Sharma's wife, Ritika Sajdeh, was absolutely shocked during the match at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday, March 4.

Rohit Sharma leaves the umpire absolutely scared

The incident happened on the last ball of the 6th over of the second innings. Star pacer Nathan Ellis bowled a length delivery to Rohit Sharma, who identified it early and charged down the track.

Rohit Sharma smashed the ball straight with full power, and the umpire, Chris Gaffaney, had to quickly get out of the way to escape a severe injury.

The ball was traveling at a very fast speed, but umpire Chris Gaffaney showed a great reflex and somehow managed to get out of the ball's way and save himself.

Rohit's shot was so brutal that the ball reached the boundary ropes in no time, and the umpire Gaffaney stood up to signal a boundary with a weird smile on his face.
