India all-rounder Riyan Parag had a decent outing with the bat in the ongoing fifth game against Zimbabwe National Cricket Team. The last game of the series between the two teams is underway at the Harare Sports Club in Harare.

Riyan Parag, who got an opportunity after missing two games, came out to bat at No.5 after India were left tottering at 40/3. The all-rounder played some crisp shots during his stay at the crease and bailed his team out of trouble after they came under a lot of pressure.

One of the highlights of Riyan Parag's innings was a massive 107-meter six that he hit against Brandon Mavuta, who bowled a half-tracker on stumps. The India batter nailed his pull and hit the massive six. The ball went on the roof at deep mid-wicket and then came down from there.

Riyan Parag, who made his debut in the ongoing series, had a huge opportunity to play the big innings but he couldn't carry on the start after that. The all-rounder played some good shots but failed to bat till the end and help his team post a big total on the board in the five-match T20I series.

Riyan Parag along with Sanju Samson bailed the team out of trouble and added 65 runs together. The keeper-batter scored a crucial half-century as the duo helped the team go past 100 runs. As a pair, both Sanju and Riyan have been sensational. In the 9 innings, they have scored 398 runs at an average of over 44.

Riyan Parag perished to Brandon Mavuta in the 15th over of the match. It was a tossed-up delivery that was outside off on a length. The India batter miscued the loft and the ball went very high. Richard Ngarava ran in and seemed to have misjudged that for a moment, then put his hands in a reverse-cup position and hung on near his chest to send the batter packing.

Riyan Parag ended with an innings of 22 runs off 24 balls. He batted with a strike rate of around 91 and also slammed 1 massive six in his innings. With his wicket, India lost their 4th wicket and were left tottering at 105/4.
