Ahead of the huge clash, Mumbai Indians star Rohit Sharma and Yuzvendra Chahal were seen sharing a light-hearted moment with each other on the field. While the spinner was busy training with his teammates, Rohit Sharma decided to walk up to him for a brief chat.
The conversation began as usual before Rohit Sharma hilariously hit Chahal with his knee. Chahal tried his best to evade getting roughed up by his senior India teammate, but his attempt was futile as Rohit caught hold of him and hit in a playful manner. It was followed by a warm embrace between the two.

Meanwhile, Chahal is not playing the game against the Mumbai Indians as he is still recovering from the finger injury. The leg-spinner also missed the last game against Delhi Capitals due to the same reason. As per reports, he is likely to be available for the playoffs games.
The spinner has played 12 games so far this season and has taken 14 wickets. Only Arshdeep Singh has taken more wickets for Punjab than Chahal this season.
Talking about the match, Punjab have won the toss and opted to field first in the must-win clash. With Chahal sidelined, Harpreet Brar will be leading the team's spin attack in the ongoing game.
"We are going to bowl first. I let the action talk more than words. I would just give them some sort of motivation and it is then their job to go and execute. Jamieson and Vyshak come in," said Punjab captain Shreyas Iyer after winning the toss.
