India National Cricket Team skipper Rohit Sharma is keeping things light in the field in the ongoing second ODI against Sri Lanka National Cricket Team. The virtual series decider between the teams is taking place at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
Indian bowlers have been chipping in with wickets at regular intervals. One of the key factors behind that has been Washington Sundar. The all-rounder brought his team back into the game after Sri Lanka had a sensational 74-run partnership between Avishka Fernando (40) and Kusal Mendis (30).
Washington Sundar removed both the set batters in quick succession of time and put India again on the front foot. While he has been top-notch with his bowling, the all-rounder has been having quite a few issues with his run-up, which was in the fray in the 33rd over.
Ahead of the second ball of the over, Washington Sundar lost his run-up twice. As he was about to deliver the ball, he stopped in the middle twice. This didn't make India National Cricket Team skipper Rohit Sharma happy, who was standing in the first slip.
As Washington Sundar lost his run-up twice, Rohit Sharma charged towards him to hit him hilariously. This was notable for the third time; the off-spinner lost his run-up in the over, and the reaction of the captain left many in splits.
