Former Mumbai Indian captain and seasoned opener Rohit Sharma was spotted shaking hands and bowing down with Arjun Tendulkar in a funny gesture as the players were departing for their respective cities following their crushing defeat against Punjab Kings in IPL 2025 Qualifier 2.

Mumbai Indians' IPL 2025 journey came to an end after their five-wicket loss to Punjab Kings in Qualifier 2 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on June 1. Despite posting a strong total of 203 runs, MI couldn't stop PBKS, as Shreyas Iyer’s brilliant knock took the side to the IPL 2025 final.

The five-time IPL champions had a slow start, but they once again picked up momentum midway through the season and made it to the playoffs but couldn’t go all the way to the finals this time. Now, PBKS will face Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the IPL 2025 final on June 3.
