They received a warm welcome with flowers upon their arrival at the airport. The celebrations continued from the Delhi Airport to their hotel, ITC Mourya.
However, it was Rohit’s dance to Punjabi Bhangra beats outside the team hotel that stole the spotlight, as he is known as a shy guy who usually looks composed and focused on the field.
Actually, when the Indian players stepped out of the team bus, a group of Bhangra dancers and Dhol players greeted them warmly outside the hotel. Witnessing the lively scene, Rohit couldn't resist joining in the celebration, letting go of his shyness.
The skipper danced energetically to the Bhangra beats alongside the dancers, creating a heartwarming moment for the Men in Blue and their fans. His spirited moves were a rare display of joy from the typically reserved demeanor of Rohit, and they added to the celebratory atmosphere surrounding India’s T20 World Cup 2024 heroes’ homecoming.
