Pakistan team is all set to take on Australia under a new skipper Shan Masood. Ahead of the Australia vs Pakistan series, a video is going viral on social media where Saud Shakeel is seen running on the field to evade a timed-out dismissal.

Timed-out is the new buzz in the cricket fraternity after the ICC World Cup 2023. During the Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh clash in the tournament, Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan enforced a timed-out decision against Sri Lanka all-rounder Angelo Mathews.

Due to some issues with his helmet, Angelo Matthews could not reach the crease within a 2-minute deadline. As a result, he was declared out of the match. According to ICC rules, a new batsman should reach the field within two minutes after the previous dismissal. Otherwise, he can be adjudged out. Notably, Angelo Mathews was the first-ever batsman to get timed out.

However, he ran as fast as he could to reach the field on time. When he reached the pitch, the umpires checked the time and adjudged him not out. All the members clapped for the batter on his hilarious response.

A spectator, who watched the match at the stadium, captured the moment on his camera and shared it on social media. Have a look at the video below.
