Former Australian cricketer Shane Watson recently responded to his wardrobe malfunction, which happened during the World Cup commentary. Shane Watson emphasized that he made efforts to ensure better-fitting attire for future appearances in the World Cup.

Earlier, Shane Watson faced light-hearted criticism for a wardrobe malfunction. Fans playfully teased him for the wardrobe malfunction that occurred while he was on commentary duties during the New Zealand-Afghanistan match in the ongoing event.

New Zealand delivered a convincing win against Afghanistan, securing their fourth consecutive victory in the ICC tournament. However, some viewers were more focused on Watson’s extremely tight-fitting blue shirt, which gave a good view of his chest and stomach.

I Did Have A Chat To Wardrobe – Shane Watson

In a video shared by ICC on its official Instagram handle, when questioned about his wardrobe, Shane Watson acknowledged the feedback he had received and confirmed that he had discussed the matter with the wardrobe team.

“Thank you for your feedback. I did have a chat to the wardrobe. Yes, I made sure I had a shirt that’s fitting a little bit better today. Chatted to wardrobe. They’re going to sort out a couple of those pink shirts for me to make them a little bit bigger. But I appreciate your question,” Shane Watson said.

Shane Watson concluded his illustrious 16-year international cricket career in 2016. He played a key role in Australia’s World Cup-winning campaigns in 2007 and 2015. The all-rounder also earned Man of the Match in the Champions Trophy finals of 2006 and 2009.
