Explosive Rajasthan Royals (RR) batsman Shimron Hetmyer pulled off an emotional yet hilarious celebration after the dismissal of the Gujarat Titans (GT) star opening batsman Sai Sudharsan on Monday, April 28.
Shimron Hetmyer dropped to his knees to celebrate the wicket because he had earlier dropped Sai Sudharsan during the 47th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.

Sai Sudharsan gets an early lifeline as Shimron Hetmyer drops him
The opening pair of Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan has been the best among all teams in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Rajasthan Royals had a great opportunity to stop them from building a big partnership as spinner Maheesh Theekshana produced a wicket-taking opportunity in the 2nd over itself.
However, it was spilled by Shimron Hetmyer and Sai Sudharsan, who were batting at 6-ball 10, extended his stay in the middle. On the fifth ball of the 2nd over, Maheesh Theekshana bowled a half-volley outside off-stump to Sai Sudharsan.
The Indian batter tried to drill it down towards extra cover, but was unable to keep it down and hit it straight into the hands of Shimron Hetmyer. RR star Hetmyer tried grabbing the catch with the reverse-cup but ended up getting hit on the chest, and the catch was dropped.
Meanwhile, Sai Sudharsan was not able to do much damage after getting the lifeline as he was cleaned up by Maheesh Theekshana in the 11th over for 30-ball 39.
Theekshana bowled a full delivery to Sudharsan, who hit the ball straight into the hands of Riyan Parag at long-on. Seeing Sai Sudharsan walk back to the dugout, Shimron Hetmyer was delighted as he dropped to his knees and celebrated hilariously.

We're probably out of the tournament - Shane Bond
Speaking ahead of the match at a pre-match press conference, RR bowling coach Shane Bond said that they are hurt because they lost a lot of close games in the competition. He admitted that their season is all but over, and they will be looking to build the team for next year.
"The hardest thing is that, for 35 overs of games we've played really well and in fact have been in control in some games and probably got into positions where we should have won. You have to give credit to the opposition, they were good enough in those tight moments to go over the top of us and win those games," Bond said.
"I suppose that's what hurts us. We're 2 (wins) and 7 (losses), and go, jeez, where we could sit on the table, but there's nothing we can do about that now. We're probably out of the tournament in terms of the points table, but that doesn't mean there's not a lot to play for. Obviously, as a team, we want to make sure we finish the season strong and continue playing well, but also for individuals there's a lot to play for, for the next season, wanting to stay with the franchise."
"For me it's been really disappointing, I think we're all competitive, we want to win, and when you've got a bunch of people who've worked really hard like our guys have, I don't expect them to just turn up and go through the motions, I expect us to turn up every day with the right attitude, bring energy and make life as hard as we possibly can for the opposition that we're playing against. I feel like we've done that for most of the competition. We've lost a lot of close games, we just haven't quite been good enough."
