India National Cricket Team all-rounder Shivam Dube impressed everyone with his all-round heroics in the fifth and final T20I of the series against England National Cricket Team.

Shivam Dube, who has mainly contributed with the bat in the last few years, was allowed to roll his arms over and he did not disappoint.

Shivam Dube smashes 30 runs and bags two wickets

Dube made the headlines after the fourth T20I against England, but not because of his performance with the bat. Dube was in the news because he got concussed and was replaced by Harshit Rana in the India playing XI.

Many felt that Rana was not a like-for-like substitute for Dube and India got an unfair advantage as Rana bagged three wickets and led India to an epic win.

Shivam Dube decided to shut the critics and show everyone his true capabilities with the ball in the Mumbai T20I. In the first innings, he smashed 30 runs off 13 balls, but he was not satisfied with it.

He was introduced in the attack in the 8th over of the second innings and on the very first ball, he bagged a major wicket of Phil Salt. He bowled a good length ball to the top-order batter, who only managed to get an outside edge as the ball went straight into the hands of keeper Dhruv Jurel.

Looking at Dube pick wicket, England head coach Brendon McCullum and Joe Root were astonished, and they were spotted with a smile in the dugout. India coach Gautam Gambhir, meanwhile, gave a thumbs-up to the all-rounder.

Shivam Dube then rattled the stumps of all-rounder Jacob Bethell to leave the visiting team struggling at 90/8 in the match.

So I'll try to adapt as soon as possible and score runs - Shivam Dube

Speaking ahead of the match, Shivam Dube provided details about the concussion he suffered in the previous match and elaborated:

"Getting recovered from that hurt. Yeah, it's not easy, I guess. That's a normal concussion sign. Yeah, so it was like when I got hit, it was better. But when I went inside, it started getting heavy.

"But after that, I thought that it would be just because of it. But when I came after the first over, I got some dizziness also. So wasn't able for all my 100% on the ground. For me, I play the same whatever the situation, whatever the ground is. And I think I know much better on this ground.

"So I'll try to adapt as soon as possible, and score runs took me a little while to start what I play in T20 and white ball. But yeah, I'm trying to get it on my 100%. For me, I play the same whatever the situation, whatever the ground is. And I think I know much better on this ground. So I'll try to adapt as soon as possible and score runs. Yeah, I'm good to go."
