India National Cricket Team batter Shubman Gill couldn't make a big impact with the bat in the ongoing second innings of the second Test against the Australia National Cricket Team. The second day of the pink-ball game is underway at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide.

Shubman Gill was forced to walk out to bat early innings as KL Rahul was back in the hut in the 2nd innings. However, the batter looked unfazed by it as he opened his account with the first-ball boundary and looked extremely positive with his batting throughout.

Shubman Gill played some magical shots in his innings, fails to carry on his start

Shubman Gill played some magical shots in his innings and made sure that gets quick runs for his team. Even though the India National Cricket Team was under pressure, he kept playing his shots and with the way he was batting, it seemed that he would get a big score.

But his stay at the crease was cut short by Mitchell Starc, who hardly has put any foot wrong in the match. The left-arm pacer was at his best and had his tail up, and with the delivery that he produced to remove Shubman Gill, it's fair to say anybody would've gotten out on that.

Mitchell Starc produced an unplayable delivery that had a late banana swing for him. The ball started at the fourth stump or even off and came back in late. It was a full ball and Shubman Gill had no chance to play that delivery. Shubman Gill got forward to drive and left a bat and pad gap as the ball knocked back the middle stump.

Shubman Gill ended with an inning of 28 runs off 30 balls as India came under massive pressure

Shubman Gill ended with an inning of 28 runs off 30 balls. The batter, who scored 30 runs in the first innings, looked fluent but couldn't cash on as the India National Cricket Team was under massive pressure, and his wicket opened the floodgates for the Rohit Sharma-led side.

Australian bowlers were all over India's National Cricket Team batters. Left-arm pacer Mitchell Starc was at his best as he had his tail up and made a mockery of the batters. He picked wickets in a flash and put his team at the top with his staggering bowling.

At stumps on Day 2, the Australia National Cricket Team are in a pretty dominating position. After taking a massive lead of 157 runs, they came up with the rolling effort with the ball and picked 5 quick wickets. India was 128-5 with Rishabh Pant and Nitish Kumar Reddy at the crease.
