Tilak Varma gets hurt while batting against South Africa in 4th T20I
The left-handed batsman Tilak Varma was at his absolute best with the bat in the fourth T20I against the Proteas. He looked sensational right from the start and batted exceptionally well throughout the innings.
Varma took no time to get going and launched an attack on the bowlers just after arriving at the crease. The aggression displayed by the youngster made the bowlers look clueless as Aiden Markram tried all the weapons in his arsenal.
Meanwhile, Andile Simelane stunned Tilak on the fourth ball of the 11th over with a brutal delivery. The pacer bowled a bouncer to Tilak, and the Indian batter attempted a pull shot but failed to make any connection with the ball. He was hit on his shoulder and looked in immense pain.
Tilak Varma was down on the ground after the incident, and the physio came in running and applied the spary to the shoulder region. After that, the batter stood up, put his jersey on, and continued the demolition.

In the end, Tilak finished his innings with 120 runs off 47 balls. His knock was studded with 9 fours and 10 sixes.
South African bowlers struggled in the 3rd T20I
South African bowlers found the going tough in the third T20I, struggling to contain India’s powerful batting lineup. Despite Marco Jansen dismissing Sanju Samson for a duck in the first over with a perfect delivery that knocked back his off stump, South Africa couldn’t keep India’s runs in check.
Marco Jansen’s four overs were economical, conceding just 28 runs at an economy of 7.00, but he had little support from the rest of the bowlers.
Gerald Coetzee had an awful day, conceding 51 runs in just three overs with an economy of 17.00. Despite sending down seven wides and one no-ball, Coetzee couldn’t find any breakthroughs, allowing India to build substantial partnerships. Lutho Sipamla’s four overs were also costly, yielding 45 runs at an economy of 11.25, as he too struggled.
Andile Simelane, however, managed to provide two timely breakthroughs. He dismissed Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav for just 1 and then delivered a pinpoint yorker to remove Rinku Singh for 8, finishing with figures of 2/34 from three overs.
Keshav Maharaj bowled economically by comparison, taking 2/36 from his four overs. Maharaj removed a dangerous Abhishek Sharma, who had scored a quick 50 off 25 balls, as well as Hardik Pandya, whose dismissal after scoring 18 left India at 132/4.
But these moments of control were too few, allowing India to register a winning total of 219/6 on the board.
