India captain Rohit Sharma came up with a massive message for the fans after the T20 World Cup 2024 victory parade in Mumbai. The opening batter stated that he is not able to forget what happened last night in his hometown and thanked fans for showing immense support.

The victory parade for the India National Cricket Team was one of the biggest events. It's fair to say that the entire Mumbai city was on the streets and at the Wankhede Stadium to celebrate India's T20 World Cup 2024 final win, which ended the 11-year-long wait for the ICC title for the Men in Blue.

India defeated South Africa in the final of the T20 World Cup 2024 and made sure that they finally had their hands at the trophy. It was a thriller of a game as the bowlers helped Men in Blue to snatch the victory from the jaws of defeat and win the game by 7 runs.

However, after winning, the India Team was stuck in Barbados due to a storm, and the wait to return home with the trophy extended. But the wait was worth in gold as the Rohit Sharma-led side received a sensational reception as soon as they landed in India.

They arrived in India on the 4th of July and were greeted exceptionally well by the crowd in New Delhi. Following that, they went to the Prime Minister's residence, and along with him, they had breakfast before moving to Mumbai to celebrate the win in the city, where they won the 2011 World Cup.

The way Mumbai City greeted World champions will be hard for every player to forget. Right from the airport to Marine Drive and then to the Wankhede Stadium, it was a sea of Blue as thousands of fans were on the streets to see the Indian team with the trophy.

The India team travelled in an open bus and moved from Marine Drive to Wankhede Stadium. The entire Marine drive was filled up with people and even the Indian players in the bus were in awe of it and they celebrated wildly with the fans in a city of joy.
