During the 22nd over of the match, James Wharton attempted a paddle sweep off left-arm spinner Yousef Majid. Cameron Steel, who was standing inside the circle, made a spectacular one-handed catch to dismiss Wharton. Steel celebrated the wicket with a lively dance move, adding flair to his fielding effort.

"Fantastic catch from Cameron Steel. It for all money looked like it was beating him. Then he was able to fling out a hand, take the catch one hand. He then twerked in celebration, which would be a moment of mystery for many of us. I'm sure he'll be asked in the post-play interviews why that particular celebration came to mind. Fantastic catch, Steel sticks one hand out and here you go. Metro Bank Fever strikes again. Cameron Steel shows off some of his finest moves," a commentator said.

Surrey fell short of their revised target of 248 runs, losing by 25 runs via the D/L method. Yorkshire's Dominic Leach (3/48) and George Hill (3/41) played key roles in restricting Surrey to 222/9 in 33 overs. Ryan Patel (40) and Ben Foakes (40) made significant contributions, while others failed to deliver with the bat.

We Could Have Been Better - Ryan Patel

Surrey opener Ryan Patel said that the team could have performed better during the power plays. Ryan praised the team for managing to reach 222 runs despite the challenge of reduced overs. Patel said that the team is looking forward to their next game.

“We could have been better in the power plays and we have spoken after the game about what we need to do better. But it is always small margins in games that get reduced in overs and they took advantage of coming back out for the last seven overs of their innings, having had it reduced to 33, with seven wickets still left. We did well in the end to get to 222 ourselves so it’s not all doom and gloom and we look forward to the next game.”
