India National Cricket Team batter Suryakumar Yadav played a decent hand with bat in the ongoing first T20I against the South Africa National Cricket Team. The series opener between the two teams is taking place at the Kingsmead in Durban.
Suryakumar Yadav, who walked out to bat at No.3, came out early after India National Cricket Team lost Abhishek Sharma early. The captain of the team batted with a positive mindset right from the start and made sure that the momentum stayed with his team.
Suryakumar Yadav continued his golden touch with the bat as he played some crisp shots in his innings and slammed bowlers all over the park. The India captain played a great second fiddle to Sanju Samson, who has been going bonkers and has been showing no mercy on the South African bowlers.
Suryakumar Yadav perished to Patrick Kruger, who bowled an 11-ball over. The batter, after failing to cash on the free hits, attempted to hit the last ball of the over out of the park. However, he didn't get the proper connection as he was caught in the deep in the 9th over.
Patrick Kruger, who struggled right through the over, bowled a knuckleball with a split-finger. Suryakumar didn't pick it up and was early on the loft. He got the inner part of the bat and the ball sailed towards deep square leg and was caught by Simelane.
