Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders will be facing each other in the 51st game of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) at the Wankhede Stadium on Friday (May 3).

It will be the first meeting between the two teams this season. KKR are currently at the second spot in the points table with 6 wins from nine games and will be eyeing another victory to bolster their playoffs chances. MI, on the other hand, are all but out of the playoffs race after managing to win just three of their 10 league games so far.

Currently languishing at the ninth spot in the points table, MI will also be eyeing a much-needed win to remain alive in the competition. While there chances of progressing to the next stage are extremely low, the five-time champions are still mathematically alive in the tournament.

One of the key players for MI in the upcoming game will be Suryakumar Yadav. The star batsman has hit two half-centuries in IPL 2024 so far but has struggled for consistency. While only time will tell how Suryakumar Yadav performs against KKR, he has already caught everyone's attention by doing the unthinkable - making Sunil Narine smile.

No matter what the situation is on the field. the KKR star hardly smiles. However, his former KKR teammate Suryakumar Yadav managed to leave him in splits by replicating his century celebration. The video of the brilliant moment was posted by Mumbai Indians' official account on social media.

Sunil Narine had scored his maiden IPL hundred earlier this season, achieving the feat against Rajasthan Royals. However, he had a very subtle reaction to the monumental feat. And when Suryakumar Yadav replicated that celebration, Sunil Narine burst into laughter. The former IPL teammates also shared a warm hug.

Unlike Suryakumar, Sunil Narine has been in stunning form this season and has performed consistently with both bat and ball. He has scored 372 runs with the help of one century and two half-centuries in addition to picking up 11 wickets. He is KKR's second leading run-scorer and joint leading wicket-taker in IPL 2024.
