Suryakumar Yadav takes a stunner to end Jamie Overton's stay

The bowling all-rounder Jamie Overton was unable to make any major contributions with the bat for England throughout the five-match T20I series against India.

He also had a poor outing with the ball in the dead rubber fifth T20I as in his three overs, he gave away 48 runs and bagged just one wicket of Ravi Bishnoi on the last ball of the first innings.

The all-rounder would have been hoping for a better outing with the bat after a poor bowling show, but the duo of Abhishek Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav didn't let that happen.

Abhishek Sharma was brought into the attack by Suryakumar Yadav after smashing a brutal ton and with his spin-bowling, the youngster got the crucial wicket of Jamie Overton in the 9th over.

On the fifth ball of the over, Abhishek bowled a tossed-up delivery to Overton, who made room for a lofted shot but ended up slicing it off the outside half.

The ball went over Suryakumar, who ran back from extra cover and took a perfectly judged catch to dismiss the English all-rounder for 1 run off 3 balls.

Who were the top performers for India in the previous T20I against England?

In the 4th T20I against England, India’s top performers were Shivam Dube and Hardik Pandya, who batted brilliantly and played a key role in their team's victory.

Shivam Dube contributed a match-winning 53 off 34 balls. His attacking strokeplay included 7 fours and 2 sixes. On the other hand, Hardik Pandya slammed 53 off 30 balls. Pandya displayed controlled aggression and he smashed 4 fours and 4 sixes, including some swag-filled strokes.

The sensational batting performances from the all-rounders took India to 181/9, a score that ultimately proved to be enough for the victory. Despite losing wickets around them, Pandya and Dube ensured that India maintained momentum in the first innings.

On the bowling side of things, Ravi Bishnoi shined with his leg spin, claiming 3 wickets for 28 runs in his 4 overs. His key wickets included the dismissals of Ben Duckett and Jos Buttler.

Also, pacer Harshit Rana, who came in as a concussion substitute for Shivam Dube, delivered a match-winning spell. He bagged three wickets for 33 runs in his four overs.

Overall, Dube and Pandya's batting brilliance, combined with Rana and Bishnoi's exceptional bowling performances helped the Men In Blue clinch a 15-run victory over England.
