The game, which had already been reduced to 16 overs owing to rain, saw some fireworks from Dhruv Singh and Shivam Sharma. South Delhi bowler Digvesh Rathi, widely known for his wild celebrations post a wicket, was once again at the centre of a controversy.
Digvesh Rathi, ever since the IPL, has made the notebook send-off a signature celebration of his, despite receiving some sanctions in the IPL. This time around as well, after dismissing the skipper, Digvesh Rathi made a similar celebration.
In return, when the Outer Delhi bowlers came in to bowl and RCB fame Suyash Sharma dismissed South Delhi captain Ayush Badoni within the powerplay, he mocked Digvesh Rathi by imitating his notebook celebration and then gesturing to tear the notebook.

Tejasvi Dahiya's unbeaten 70 off just 30 balls was a masterclass from the South Delhi Batter as he helped his team to a 3-wicket victory in a thrilling contest in the 22nd match of the second season of the DPL.
Chasing a modest 140 in 16 overs, the Superstarz had collapsed owing to a shaky start, as the top-order batters were dismissed within the powerplay. The troubles further increased in the 10th over with the dismissal of set batter Anmol Sharma; however, Tejasvi then entered at no. 5.
He shifted gears immediately as the team needed 70 runs in the remaining 6 overs. Ending the game with 2 huge sixes, his 70-run innings was scored with 4 fours and 6 sixes alongside Beniwal, who played a handy cameo at the end.

In the game, after being sent in to bat first, the Outer Delhi Warriors were put under pressure early with disciplined bowling from the Superstarz, resulting in the frequent fall of wickets. They could manage just 139 runs, losing 8 wickets, where Sumit Beniwal picked 3 wickets while Rathi and Divansh Rawat picked 2 wickets each.
Key batters Sanat Sangwan and Dhruv Singh provided valuable contributions to take the Outer Delhi team to the score of 140 as they could stage a fight with the comeback made by their bowlers against the South Delhi Superstarz top order.
