Suyash Sharma has opened up about one of the most talked-about highlights of Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) crushing eight-wicket win over Punjab Kings (PBSK) in the IPL 2025 Qualifier 1 on Thursday, May 29. Actually, Suyash Sharma talked about his “my ground” celebration.
The young leg-spinner turned the game on its head with his deadly googlies as Royal Challengers Bengaluru crushed Punjab Kings in a one-sided affair to storm into the IPL 2025 final in Chandigarh. Playing on a worn-out pitch at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh Stadium, Suyash made the most of the conditions and finished with a match-winning spell of 3 for 17.

Suyash completely broke the Punjab Kings' batting line-up by dismissing key batters, including Shashank Singh, Musheer Khan, and Marcus Stoinis, in quick succession. And then PBKS never recovered from the early blows and were bowled out for just 101 runs in 14.1 overs against the RCB.
Chasing the paltry target, Royal Challengers Bengaluru finished the game in just 10 overs and sealed their first IPL final spot since 2016. Now, RCB is just one win away from lifting their maiden IPL trophy. The IPL 2025 final will be held on June 3 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Meanwhile, after his match-winning spell in Qualifier 1, Suyash Sharma opened up about his special celebration, suggesting that it was his ground against the Punjab Kings in Chandigarh.
