Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) quick bowler T Natarajan marked his return to the nets with a power-packed session, including breaking a stump, ahead of the all-important IPL 2022 season starting on March 26.

Natarajan has been out of action since last year due to a knee injury. He went under the knife for the same and his recovery took quite a while. He will be returning to the setup for the 15th edition of the IPL.

During one of the practice sessions at the SRH camp, Natarajan smashed through a stump with one of his speedy deliveries. The franchise shared a video of the same with the caption:

When he isn’t crushing your toes, he’s breaking the stumps down! ? @natarajan_jayaprakash #OrangeArmy #ReadyToRise #TATAIPL.”

Natarajan had made strides through his IPL’s performances, even making his debut for the Indian team. Unfortunately, constant injuries have sidelined him and he will once again have to start from scratch and elevate himself to the highest level.

Hyderabad will be playing its first game of the season against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on March 29 at the MCA Stadium in Pune. They have made a few good buys at the auction, none bigger than the exciting-but-inconsistent Nicholas Pooran.

SRH splurged INR 10.75 crores to acquire the services of Pooran, who has not done enough to justify the immense talent he possesses. However, he will have another opportunity to prove himself, this time being the center of attention at SRH.

Sunrisers Hyderabad squad for IPL 2022:
