Bangladesh fast bowler Tanzim Hasan Sakib and West Indies opener Brandon King were involved in a verbal exchange during the second ODI of the three-match series. Tanzim Hasan Sakib threw the ball towards Brandon King in frustration, which led to a heated argument between the two players.
The second ODI between Bangladesh and the West Indies took place at Warner Park in St Kitts on Tuesday, December 10. The Bangladesh team batted first and posted a total of 227 runs. Mahmudullah scored a half-century, while Tanzid Hasan (46) and Sakib (45) made useful contributions with the bat.

In response, West Indies openers Brandon King and Evin Lewis got off to a strong start. They hit boundaries, frustrating the Bangladesh bowlers in the powerplay. In the sixth over of the chase, Tanzim Hasan Sakib threw the ball at King after the batter guided it back to him.
Sakib appealed for obstructing the field, despite King being well within the crease. This led to a verbal exchange between the two players, which was eventually calmed down by the umpires.

West Indies Take Unassailable 2-0 Lead in ODI Series vs Bangladesh
Brandon King and Evin Lewis shared a 109-run partnership to give the West Indies a solid start in the second ODI. Lewis fell just short of a fifty, as he was dismissed by Rishad Hossain for 49 runs.
Kaecy Carty then added 66 runs with King for the second wicket before King was dismissed for 86. Shai Hope (17*) and Sherfane Rutherford (24*) guided the team to victory with 13 overs to spare.
West Indies captain Shai Hope was delighted with his team's performance. He praised the bowlers for executing their plans effectively. Hope emphasized the team's continuous analysis and improvement, noting that they aimed to finish the series 2-0 with one match remaining.
"Very pleased. You understand the importance of wickets in the powerplay and the bowlers delivered what was asked of them. We always analyze our game whether we win or lose and it is nice to see us ticking boxes and keep improving," Hope said.
"We asked the guys to finish the series up here 2-0 and one more to go, so looking forward to it. He (Mindley) had a great outing today, he has been bowling well in domestic cricket for a long time now and he did well. Every game is important and it is critical in terms of getting those points which will help us qualify for the next World Cup," he added.
The West Indies secured an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series. The final game of the series will be played at Warner Park on Thursday, December 12.
