India National Cricket Team player Rishabh Pant has set the stage on fire in the ongoing first Test against the New Zealand National Cricket Team. The keeper-batter has made the crowd at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru go berserk with his sensational performance on Day 4.
Rishabh Pant has provided India with a chance to win the game, having been bundled out for 46 runs in the first innings. The keeper-batter played an aggressive brand of cricket and made sure that he helped his team take the lead and put the New Zealand bowlers on the back foot.
One of the major highlights of his innings was the massive six that he hit against Tim Southee. It was a humongous six that left many in the stadium awestruck, including his teammate KL Rahul, who was at the non-striker's end, and the Indian dressing room.
Pant was at his freakish best as he went down on one knee against the moving ball and slog-swept it over square-leg for a 107m six. This didn't go well with the New Zealand National Cricket Team pacer Tim Southee, who, after the six, sledged the keeper-batter.
After the over, Tim Southee was seen saying something to Rishabh Pant, who came at the non-striker's end. The keeper-batter, however, didn't give any response as he kept his head down and kept focusing on his batting.

William ORourke removes Rishabh Pant
Tim Southee getting into the head of Pant seemed to have done wonders for the New Zealand National Cricket Team. A few balls after that, the keeper-batter faced the heartbreak and was back in the hut just a run ahead of his another century in the longest format of the game.
William ORourke bowled a short-of-length delivery that kicked up and surprised Pant on the defence. The ball hit the splice of the bat and crashed into the stumps. The ball moved in and also bounced extra, cramping the batter and taking the edge to hit the stumps.
