During the ILT20 2024 match between MI Emirates and Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, Emirates, and New Zealand pacer Trent Boult took a spectacular catch to dismiss Laurie Evans for a duck. The incident took place on the third ball of the 18th over when Evans, was trying to chip the ball over the covers region against Fazalhaq Farooqi and ended up handing over a catch to Boult.

However, the catch was not easy for Trent Boult as he had to make a full-strength dive to complete the catch. Boult took a one-handed blinder while diving. This is not the first time Boult has taken a catch of such quality. While playing for the Delhi Daredevils (Delhi Capitals) against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Boult grabbed a stunner on the boundary line to dismiss Virat Kohli.

During match 19 of the Indian Premier League 2018, Virat Kohli chipped one towards the fine leg region of pacer Harshal Patel. Kohli had got the timing right but was not able to surpass Trent Boult who was fielding at fine leg. Boult took a brilliant one-handed grab and also didn’t go over the boundary line.
