Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli and vice-captain AB de Villiers shared a heartfelt message for a child recovering from a serious heart disorder. Kohli and De Villiers shared a video on Twitter to motivate the young boy to recover soon from his heart ailments. Both the RCB players are currently in Ahmedabad where their team is playing IPL 2021 matches.

Blood Donors India informed that a child named Priyashu from Delhi is suffering from a very serious heart disorder. The organisation worked for three years to collect money from donors for the operation. The boy is currently in Boston, United States and is safe after the surgery. He will return to his home in India after full recovery.

You Have Been Very Brave: Virat Kohli

In the video, Kohli called the child very brave and wished that he recovers soon and returns to India.

“Hi Priyanshu, Hope you are doing well now. I heard about your operation. I just want to say you’ve been strong through it and very brave. You’ve gotten over the first hurdle and you will recover soon and you will be back in India in no time,” Virat Kohli can be heard saying in the video.

Moreover, de Villiers congratulated the boy for being so strong and so motivated during the whole process.

“From my side, I just want to say you really inspire us. Everything you’ve been through has been a very big challenge for you. And I want to congratulate you for being so strong and for being so motivated through this whole process. I hope everything goes well and you be strong enough to make it to your homeland,” AB de Villiers says in the video.

Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bangalore have got an excellent start in IPL 2021. They have won 5 matches out of 6 so far. In the previous game, the Virat Kohli-led side defeated Delhi Capitals by 1 run in a thrilling encounter. RCB also hold 2nd spot in IPL 2021 points table with 10 points.

RCB follow CSK in the points table, as the latter hold the top spot with equal 10 points but a better net run-rate than RCB. RCB will take on Punjab Kings in their next match of IPL 2021.
