Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) star Virat Kohli had to take evasive action after a fan breached security and came running to meet him on the field. The incident took place on Sunday (April 13) when RCB locked horns against Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.

Kohli was busy talking with Rajasthan Royals head coach Rahul Dravid, batting coach Vikram Rathour, and opener Yashasvi Jaiswal after the conclusion of the game when the fan decided to enter the field.

The former RCB captain quickly noticed the fan and decided to take action. He decided to run away rather than engage with the fan.

In the meantime, the security personnel came running onto the field and caught the fan before he could get close to Virat Kohli. The fan was seen waving towards Kohli while being taken out of the ground.

Virat Kohli powers RCB to impressive win:

Before the incident, Kohli starred with the bat in RCB's 9-wicket win over the Rajasthan Royals. The right-handed batsman scored his third fifty of the season as RCB chased down 174 runs with utmost ease.

Batting first, the Rajasthan Royals scored 173/4 in 20 overs thanks to Yashasvi Jaiswal's 75-run knock. The likes of Riyan Parag (30) and Dhruv Jurel (35*) played important knocks too.

While Rajasthan Royals posted a competitive total at a venue that is not known for producing high-scoring games, RCB chased down the total quite comfortably. Phil Salt and Virat Kohli gave RCB a flying start. They added 92 runs for the first wicket before Salt was dismissed by Kumar Kartikeya. The England star departed after scoring 65 runs off just 33 balls.

RCB did not lose any wickets after that, as Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal shared an unbeaten 83-run stand for the second wicket. Kohli remained unbeaten on 62 while Padikkal scored 40 not out.

The win was RCB's fourth in six games this season and helped them bounce back after the defeat against Delhi Capitals in their previous outing. With 4 wins, RCB are currently in the third spot in the points table. On the other hand, the Royals are in eighth spot with just 2 wins from 6 games.
