Captain of the Indian national cricket team, Virat Kohli has started his preparation to don the red jersey of the Royal Challengers Bangalore for the upcoming 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

That Virat Kohli commenced his training for the IPL on Monday, just a day after India defeated England in the ODI series, reflects his determination to win RCB its maiden title which has allured him, the club, and its fans for 13 seasons. Virat Kohli himself is back in form – if he was ever out of it. After consecutive ducks – in the fourth Test and in the first T20I against England – the right-hander smashed 73*,77*,1, and 80* to bag the Man of the Series award in the 5-match T20I series. He followed it up with a couple of more half-centuries in the ODIs.

Kohli took to Twitter to let his fans know that the ‘King’ is gearing up to claim the IPL crown this year.

No rest days. From here on its all about speed #IPL” tweeted the RCB skipper with a video of him running on the treadmill.
