India National Cricket Team batter Yashasvi Jaiswal yet again played a match-winning innings for his team in Test cricket. He produced a sensational effort with the bat in the second game against the Bangladesh National Cricket Team, which took place at Green Park in Kanpur.
Yashasvi Jaiswal, who slammed a half-century in the first innings, made sure that he came up with another similar effort in the second innings. The opening batter in the chase made sure that he stayed there till the end and ensured that his team won the second game.
With India needing just three more runs, Yashasvi Jaiswal tried to go for a glory shot and finish the game for his team. The batter tried to hit the six but he couldn't connect and perished on the cusp of the win. He got out to Taijul Islam on the last ball of the 16th over.
Taijul Islam bowled a tossed delivery that was drifting across the middle from around the wicket. Yashasvi Jaiswal looked to swipe across the line but ended up miscuing it high in the air off the outside half. Shakib Al Hasan, who was at covers, took a safe catch to remove the batter.
As Jaiswal got while trying to hit a big six, the reaction of Virat Kohli went viral. The senior batter was seen laughing before giving the young batter a pat on the helmet as he walked back to the pavilion.
