India National Cricket Team batter Virat Kohli has looked in intense mood during the ongoing game against Australia National Cricket Team in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The semi-final of the tournament between the teams is taking place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai.

Virat Kohli, in the ongoing game, also achieved a massive feat for the India National Cricket Team. The right-hander became the fielder with the most number of catches for the team across all the formats, surpassing Rahul Dravid, who was at the top of the list.

Virat Kohli went past Rahul Dravid's tally of 334 catches in international cricket

Virat Kohli achieved the feat after he took the catch of Josh Inglis in the ongoing game. With this catch, the India National Cricket Team batter picked up his 335th catch in international cricket, going past Rahul Dravid's tally of 334 catches during his career.

Virat Kohli took the catch during the 27th over when Ravindra Jadeja bowled a length delivery on off and middle to Josh Inglis. The batter went on the back foot to punch and find cover, where Kohli was stationed, and took an easy catch to send the batter packing.

He didn't get timing right and Kohli took a few steps to his right at long-on to hold onto it.

Australia posts a total of 264 runs on board, Steve Smith, Alex Carey slam fifties, Mohammed Shami picks three-fer

Coming to the match, Australia National Cricket Team got all out for just 264 runs and couldn't play their entire quota of overs. Steve Smith was the top run-getter for his team as the captain slammed a vital half-century and played an innings of 73 runs off 96 balls.

Alex Carey also came up with the magical hand of 61 runs off 57 balls. He was batting brilliantly and was looking for a big score, but the brilliance of Shreyas Iyer in the field saw him back in the hut. It's fair to say that with that throw, India National Cricket Team saved around 15-20 runs.

For the India National Cricket Team, Mohammed Shami was the pick of the bowlers with his figures of 3/48. Varun Chakravarthy and Ravindra Jadeja also picked two wickets while Axar Patel and Hardik Pandya were also amongst wickets.
