Virat Kohli is widely known as the greatest crowd-pulling cricketer in the world, and he has yet again shown why he is a fan favorite during the first Test between India and New Zealand on Day 5 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday (October 20).

As the ongoing three-match Test series opener was slipping from Team India’s hands and the crowd was getting disappointed to see New Zealand cruising to the memorable victory, Virat Kohli took the matter in hand and asked the fans to cheer loudly, and they didn’t disappoint the former captain.

Well, the dashing right-hander has an unmatched ability to draw crowds like no other, whether India plays at home or away. Virat Kohli's electrifying presence on the field, apart from his aggressive playing style and unrelenting hunger for runs, makes him the greatest crowd-puller in the world.

Kohli’s charisma and aggressive body language make every cricket fan fall in love with him every time he steps onto the pitch, and Day 5 of the first Test between India and New Zealand was not a different one.

Since India was close to suffering a massive loss to New Zealand, the fans at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium were looking dejected, and at that time, Kohli injected fresh energy into them.

In the seventh over, as Jasprit Bumrah charged in to bowl, Kohli was spotted pumping up the crowd, eager to get the Bengaluru fans rallying behind the Indian cricket team. His energetic gestures didn't stop there. When Mohammed Siraj came on to bowl the very next over, Virat Kohli was seen encouraging the crowd to support the team with even more intensity.

The Indian batting maestro called the Bengaluru crowd to cheer for the team, and they obliged his request by cheering loudly to back the national team amidst the tough time the players were going through on the field against New Zealand. Now, the clip is winning hearts on the internet.

Kohli hit a fifty in the first Test against New Zealand

Earlier, in the Bengaluru Test, Kohli played a stunning knock of 70 runs off 102 balls in the second innings after failing to deliver in the first innings, dismissing for a duck, against New Zealand. The former Indian captain hit eight fours and one six during his stay in the second inning in Bengaluru.

However, the Indian cricket team suffered a massive defeat of eight wickets in the first Test against New Zealand, as the tourists chased down the paltry 107 runs inside 28 overs to take a 1-0 lead in the ongoing three-match Test series on Sunday at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
