Virat Kohli perishes for 37 runs against Bangladesh
Virat Kohli had the kind of start that he would’ve wanted in the ongoing game against Bangladesh. But he couldn’t carry in after that as he fell in the 9th over of the match to the pacer Tanzim Hasan Sakib and looked utterly disappointed with himself.
Tanzim Hasan Sakib shortened his length and kept the ball straight. Virat Kohli looked to go down the ground but was duped by the length and lack of pace. The ball curled in late to hit the middle of the middle stump and send the batter packing.
Virat Kohli ended with an innings of 37 runs off 28 balls. He batted with a strike rate of over 132 and also slammed 1 four and 3 six. After he got out, India lost quick wickets and came under pressure, reeling at 108/4. The onus will be now on Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dube to take India to a fighting total at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua and Barbuda.
