India batter Virat Kohli looked in great touch with the bat in the ongoing game against Bangladesh in the T20 World Cup 2024. The Super 8 stage of the game between the teams is underway at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua and Barbuda.

Virat Kohli, who opened the innings again, looked in fine form and seemed to be high on confidence. The batter came out with positive intent and looked to attack bowlers right from the start, providing a great start to the team at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua and Barbuda.

Virat Kohli played crisp shots in his innings and made many go gaga. But what the caught attention of many was his no-look six against Mustafizur Rahman in the 6th over of the innings.

Virat Kohli hit a staggering no-look six off Mustafizur Rahman. It was a full delivery to which the batter shuffled back and across. He waited for the full delivery in the slot and marmalizes it for a 94-metre maximum over cow corner.

Coming into the game, Virat Kohli didn’t have the kind of outing he would’ve wanted. But in the ongoing game, he looked a lot better than in the last few games and going into the tournament, it will be a massive boost for the India National Cricket Team.

Virat Kohli after hitting that no-look six played some gorgeous strokes as well and made sure that India kept the run rate high. He along with skipper Rohit Sharma (23) added 39 runs for the opening partnership at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua and Barbuda.

Virat Kohli continued batting positively even after Rohit Sharma got out. He added 32 runs partnership with Rishabh Pant, who scored 36 runs. The duo made sure that India went past the 50-run mark with ease and kept putting the opposition under pressure.

Virat Kohli perishes for 37 runs against Bangladesh

Virat Kohli had the kind of start that he would’ve wanted in the ongoing game against Bangladesh. But he couldn’t carry in after that as he fell in the 9th over of the match to the pacer Tanzim Hasan Sakib and looked utterly disappointed with himself.

Tanzim Hasan Sakib shortened his length and kept the ball straight. Virat Kohli looked to go down the ground but was duped by the length and lack of pace. The ball curled in late to hit the middle of the middle stump and send the batter packing.

Virat Kohli ended with an innings of 37 runs off 28 balls. He batted with a strike rate of over 132 and also slammed 1 four and 3 six. After he got out, India lost quick wickets and came under pressure, reeling at 108/4. The onus will be now on Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dube to take India to a fighting total at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua and Barbuda.
