India National Cricket Team batting great Virat Kohli has come into the limelight ahead of the India squad selection for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025, which will be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Actually, a video of Virat Kohli with his wife Anushka Sharma has gone viral on social media platforms, and fans are going crazy over it.
Virat Kohli enjoys his time off from cricket
Kohli retired from T20I cricket in 2024 after winning the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 and will not be seen in the upcoming Asia Cup 2025, which will be played in T20I format.
He also said goodbye to his favorite format - Test cricket - on May 12, 2025, and marked the end of an iconic 14-year career that began in 2011.
Under his leadership, he made Team India an extraordinary side in both home and away conditions and guided the team to 40 wins. Overall, Kohli played 123 Test matches and scored 9,230 runs at an average of 46.85.
He was last in action for India during the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 triumph and for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) during the IPL 2025 title-winning campaign. He is now set to return to action in the India tour of Australia to feature in a three-match ODI series.
Ahead of the series, some reports arrived that the Australia series would be his last in international cricket, and the batter will retire from ODI cricket after that. However, Virat Kohli recently returned to training, seemingly thrashing the reports.
Meanwhile, a video has gone viral on social media where Virat Kohli, along with his wife Anushka Sharma, was spotted enjoying a walk through the streets of London. He was seen chatting with locals in the streets of London and sharing a laugh with them.

Every match, I believe we had performances from individuals - Virat Kohli's ex-teammate on the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy
In an interaction with RevSportz, Virat Kohli's former teammate Shardul Thakur spoke about India's performance in the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025.
Shardul Thakur said that India were in a winning position in four out of five Tests against England, thanks to the individual performances. He elaborated:
"Everyone gave in a lot of energy even when fielding after a tiring, tough session, or say a big partnership. No one showed any sign of “letting the match go”. India was in winning positions in most of the matches except for Manchester. I would say both teams played equal cricket, just that England being their home ground, the hosts had slightly more advantage of knowing the conditions better. Team India, on the other hand, always had their spirits high and had terrific individual performances that inspired the rest to follow their lead and perform.
"Every match, I believe we had performances from individuals that stood out. For example, [Jasprit] Bumrah taking a five-for, getting few hundreds in the first match, Prasidh [Krishna] and I getting crucial wickets, Siraj (Mohammed) bowling long spells. Shubman [Gill] in Birmingham, Rishabh [Pant] with those two hundreds, KL Rahul getting a hundred, bowlers making things happen. Oval third innings, having runs from the lower order – those are kind of things that keep the atmosphere alive in the dressing room."
