Virat Kohli dons captain's hat:

As Patidar went off the field, Virat Kohli took charge of the team. The batting superstar set the field and led the side for a while before the regular captain returned to the field.

Meanwhile, CSK were on 140/2 at the end of the 13th over at the time of writing this report. Ayush Mhatre was unbeaten on 81 off 40 balls while Jadeja was batting on 40 off 22. Earlier in the innings, CSK lost the wickets of Shaik Rasheed and Sam Curran inside the powerplay before Jadeja and Mhatre steadied the ship.

While CSK have already been knocked out of IPL 2025, they will be eyeing a much-needed victory in the ongoing match to avenge the loss they suffered against RCB last month.

Earlier in the match, RCB finished their innings on 213/5. Romario Shepherd starred with the bat by hitting a 14-ball fifty that helped RCB collect as many as 54 runs from the final two overs. Virat Kohli (62) and Jacob Bethell (55) scored half-centuries for RCB as well.
