Star India batter Virat Kohli is not having a great time with the bat. However, Kohli does not miss any chance to have fun on the field despite his poor form. He did something hilarious during the second Test between India and New Zealand at Pune.

After the end of play on Day 1, Kohli walked out with the bat in his hand for some throwdowns. Kohli walked in the style of Shubman Gill and mimicked him as perfectly as he could while the players were going back to the dressing room after the end of the day's play.

The crowd too enjoyed Virat Kohli's funny side as they watched from the stands behind. The New Zealand players too enjoyed the funny side of the legendary India batter on their way back to the dressing room.

Watch: Virat Kohli hilariously mimics Shubman Gill

After mimicking Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli practiced for the next day when he was the next to bat. He came out to bat after India lost Shubman Gill as the first wicket on Day 2.

Virat Kohli dismissed for another low score

But Kohli was dismissed for just 1, which left the whole stadium stunned in silence. The 35-year-old tried to flick a low full toss through the leg side but missed the ball completely.

The ball went on to hit the stumps, leaving Kohli stunned by the manner he got out. It was a scoring opportunity for him but he lost his wicket. New Zealand players, including the bowler Mitchell Santner, were delighted knowing about the magnitude of this wicket.

Virat Kohli's form has been a big cause of concern for India in this Test season. The star India batter has scored just one fifty so far when he scored 70 in the second innings at Bengaluru in the first Test of the series.

India suffer a dramatic collapse

Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli's wickets started a dramatic collapse as India lost 6 wickets for the next 53 runs. The Men in Blue were finally all out for just 156 runs, giving New Zealand a handy first-innings lead of 103 runs.

It was an unexpected performance from the Indian batters, who have been excellent in home conditions over the years. But this performance will raise questions about their ability to play on spin-friendly surfaces.

India have not been at their best this series so far. They lost the first Test of the series by 8 wickets on a pacer-friendly surface at Bengaluru. The pitch changed in the second Test but New Zealand continued its domination with some fine planning and performance.

The Pune Test is a do-or-die Test match for India as they need to win this at any cost. If India lose this match, they will lose a Test series at home after more than a decade. On the other hand, New Zealand will be aiming to create history here by clinching a memorable win.
