Virat Kohli is accompanied by his wife, Anushka Sharma, and children Vamika and Akaay in Australia for the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. The Indian batting master is looking in great touch in his favorite hunting nation in the ongoing five-match Test series opener in Perth.

Kohli has a special supporter in attendance at the Optus Stadium stands, as his wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma was enthusiastically cheering for her husband in the ongoing first Test between India and Australia in Perth.

Anushka Sharma and Akaay cheer for Virat Kohli in Perth Test

The videos of Anushka’s presence quickly went viral on social media. But surprisingly, Virat and Anushka’s son, Akaay, was also seen in attendance at the Optus Stadium stands on Day 3 of the ongoing Perth Test, and fans couldn’t keep calm, making the pictures viral on the internet.

Currently, some pictures of Virat Kohli’s baby boy are going viral on social media, where he was seen possibly in Anushka Sharma’s father’s lap. In the viral pictures, Anushka can be seen sitting in the front seat in the stands, while Akaay Kohli was enjoying the proceedings from the lap of his grandfather. Notably, Jr. Kohli was seen in blue attire.

Here's the viral pictures of Akaay Kohli:

However, Kohli and Anushka Sharma have a policy of keeping their children, Vamika and Akaay, away from the public eye. They already requested the paparazzi not to take photos of children and only share glimpses of their daily lives on special occasions without revealing their faces.

Notably, during one of India’s matches, a camera caught Vamika in the stands along with her mother Anushka, and the pictures went crazily viral on social media.

At that time, the couple asked the entire media house to delete their daughter’s pictures and strongly condemned the act, so it will be interesting to see how Virushka will react to the viral picture of their son.

Virat Kohli achieves big milestone in Perth Test

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli reached a significant milestone during the ongoing first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 at the Optus Stadium in Perth. The former Indian skipper became the fifth Indian batter to score 2,000 Test runs against Australia.

The 36-year-old achieved this feat in just 44 innings, joining an elite group of Indian cricket legends—Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, Rahul Dravid, and Cheteshwar Pujara. Along the way, Kohli has recorded eight centuries and five half-centuries against Australia.

On the other hand, former India cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar hailed the centurion Yashasvi Jaiswal's batting style and advised Kohli to learn from the 22-year-old opener.

Manjrekar said on Star Sports: “The square cut—he plays it a little later, which may not be ideal, but the back foot punch is something to love now in both those shots that you see there, guys. Well, the new king likes to be on the back foot, unlike the reigning king, who wants to be on the front foot, and as a result of that, he got 64% of the runs behind square. And that's something I think Virat Kohli might just want to have a look at because that's an area where he doesn't look to score off at all.
