India National Cricket Team all-rounder Washington Sundar has made a solid impact for his team in the ongoing second Test against the New Zealand National Cricket Team. The match between the teams is taking place at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.

Washington Sundar has brought the India National Cricket Team back into the game after Rachin Ravindra and Daryl Mitchell seemed to be taking the game away from the opposition. The duo batted with great control and got some quick runs for their team.

Rachin Ravindra, in particular, looked good to eyes. He carried his great form and played yet another vital hand for his team. The Southpaw, who slammed a terrific century in Bengaluru, batted similarly as well here in Pune and put his team at the top.

Rachin Ravindra slammed a terrific half-century and with the way he was batting, it seemed that he would go on and notch another century. But his stay at the crease was cut short by the brilliance of Washington Sundar, who produced a peach to send batter packing.

Washington Sundar came around the wicket and drifted a delivery on the off stump. The ball landed around a length and turned sharply. Rachin Ravindra got forward but couldn't cover it on the front foot. He was squared up in defense and was beaten on the outside edge.

The ball went in and clipped the off-stump. Sundar was elated with the way he removed the New Zealand National Cricket Team batter. The batter looked shocked and looked back in disbelief to check if he indeed had been bowled.

Washington Sundar setting the stage on fire in his comeback match for India in Tests

Sundar has been setting the stage on fire in his comeback match for India in Tests. The off-spinner didn't stop after taking the wicket of Rachin Ravindra. He went on to remove Tom Blundell as well just ahead of the Tea on Day 1 of the ongoing Test.

Sundar produced another magical delivery that made the batter look clueless. The off-spinner bowled a tossed-up delivery outside off, which had a lot of turn. The batter tried to flick it through the on-side. The ball turned sharply between bat and pad to send the batter packing.

If this was not enough, Sundar then went on to remove Daryll Mitchell. The off-spinner trapped the batter in lbw for 18 runs and took three wickets in quick succession of time. He is making sure that he makes his comeback memorable after almost 4 years.
