Will Jacks probably took the best catch of the ongoing Hundred Men's 2026 competition at Lord's. That catch not only shifted the momentum of the match but also secured the fourth win for MI London against the London Spirits.

Because of the momentum, London Spirits were the favourites to win the match, but it was Will Jacks whose acrobatic efforts changed the whole complexion of the match. Lhuan-dre Pretorius, who was firing on all cylinders for the London Spirits, was about to clear the ropes over the long off area, but something unexpected happened.

Will Jacks takes the best catch of The Hundred 2026!

Will Jacks was there, who somehow managed to pull out a stunner, which left everyone on and off the ground speechless. In the 49th delivery of the first innings, Nathan Sowter floated one to the London Spirits opener.

The batter welcomed the ball and hammered it to find his fourth six of the innings. The ball was travelling over the long off area. Jack spotted the delivery and made a well-timed jump. He caught the ball in the air, but only two feet landed clean; he threw the ball in the air again inside the rope.

Will Jacks landed outside the boundary, but the ball was then in the air, within the playing area. Jacks, using his reflexes, rolled back onto the ground and threw himself to complete the catch.

The catch shifted the momentum of the match

That's how the explosive innings of Lhuan-dre Pretorius came to an end. The London Spirits opener had to depart with 52 off 28. From here, the momentum of the match shifted all of a sudden.

Batting first, London Spirits scored 160 runs in 100 balls in exchange for 5 wickets. MI London surpassed the total with six more balls to spare.

"Yeah, it was tough out there, the short side there, just trying to find the ball away at times. But yeah, very happy to come back to Lord's and do well again," Nathan Sowter, who dismissed Lbuan-dre Pretorious, stated at the innings break.

"I think sometimes getting into the wicket here can just hold a little bit, and probably a little bit short. One delivery there just stuck, and he played through it early. So some days you get a little bit lucky with the short side. But you have to keep the stumps in play and hope for the best sometimes," he added.

Sikandar Raza joined MI London in style

Sikandar Raza, who arrived in London only a couple of days ago before the match, was named the Player of the Match for scoring 32 runs from 16 balls with four maximums. He announced his arrival for MI London with a 6.

With the win, MI London, with four wins in 6 matches, have jumped to second place in the points table, with two consecutive wins. They will play next against the Trent Rockets.
